Also remember, as part of your child's daily homework they should read every night for 20 minutes. You have to sign their Read and Respond sheet daily!
Access your child's grades on Infinite Campus. Schedule an appointment with your child's teacher or stop by the front office to get your login information.
Please supply your child with Addition and Subtraction Flash Cards and a pocket dictionary.
The Second Grade Spelling Bee is December 9, 2011. Please practice spelling words from the list sent home (Check homework folders).
Please continue to donate can goods to your classroom.
Our 1st Field Trip will be Dec.14th to the Nutcracker, permission slips will be sent home soon.
The 2nd grade Social Studies and ELA Common Assessment will be given the week of December 14th

Georgia 2nd Grade Standards - This link takes you to the Georgia Performance Standards website. Here you will find learning standards (everything your child is expected to know).
Dolch Site Words - This link takes you to a list of basic site words your child should know. Your child should be able to read all of the words up to second grade.
Literacy/ Math Games - This link takes you to a site that has interactive reading and math games for your child to play.
